Position Description Technical Sales Manager, Southwest Location Irvine Employment duration Full time Apply Now SUMMARY ROHM is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager. This is a hybrid position, local to Irvine/Orange County. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the Southwestern US territory with a heavy emphasis in the automotive segment. This role requires a strategic mindset that can work across all levels within large organizations, a deep understanding of semiconductor products and technologoeis, as well as strong sales and relationship-building skills. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets, design wins and expand our customer base in Southern California and outlying areas. Identify and engage with potential customers, understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with the technical team to provide customers with comprehensive product knowledge and support. Negotiate significant annual and long-term agreements. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunitites. Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, presentations and markets analyst to senior management. Input, maintain and track all opportunities using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline. An MBA is a plus. 4+ years of Semiconductor experience or related technology industry experience. Automotive electronics experience is preferred. Technical Knowledge and Skills:Strong oral and written communication to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Knowledge of power electronics, power management, automotive ADAS, infotainment, and body electronics. Software Knowledge: MS Windows, MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Planner), and CRM Software (Salesforce).Abilities/Attitude:Understand ROHMs products, manufacturing processes, systesm and infrastructure. Manage time, prioritize, and focus on completing tasks. Communicate effectively and diplomatically with internal stakeholders and external customers.Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends and enhance professional growth.Work independently and as part of a team. Travel domestically and internationally (approx. 30%+) Work onsite as required.
