Technical Sales Representative - Industrial Wood Coatings

We are seeking a qualified Technical Sales Representative to help my client grow sales of Industrial Wood Coating products that customers have grown to rely on in the Central Wisconsin Region.

The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the Value Selling sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, closing deals, and technical understanding of liquid coatings application.

Territory can be worked out of Wisconsin or live in Texas, Canada, or the Northeast United States.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a business or chemistry-related field is preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years in sales within an Industrial OEM coating setting, liquid coatings, and Wood coating experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customers and commercial events with 90 days + annual overnight travel.
  • Candidate location: Southeast Wisconsin area or within the sales territory.
