Technical Sales Representative

Job Title: Technical Sales Representative
Location: Watsonville, CA (On-site with some travel)
Pay Range: $80,000 - 90,000 Salary

Manpower is partnering with a leading advanced manufacturing company to hire a Technical Sales Representative. This role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for supporting customer needs while driving new business development across established and emerging markets.

What is the Job:

• Support customer inquiries and develop new business opportunities leveraging company core competencies
• Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals for both existing and prospective customers
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and seminars
• Visit new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
• Maintain and update customer and sales data in Salesforce, ensuring timely and accurate order entry
• Identify and contribute to company growth opportunities across markets and applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support customers and ensure successful project execution
• Analyze market trends and compile reports on sales performance and business opportunities
• Review contracts for accuracy, including terms and conditions and export regulations
• Support billing processes and assist with occasional shipping activities

What is Needed:

• Experience in technical sales, sales administration, or contract review
• Background in electronic packaging, photonics, or mobile communications industries
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong prospecting skills and ability to identify new opportunities
• High level of integrity and professionalism

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience working with defense contracts
