Your Role in Scientific Problem Solving
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you'll act as a trusted advisor to clients across industries, helping them navigate complex analytical testing needs. From materials characterization to analysis, you'll work directly with customers to understand their challenges and recommend the right scientific solutions.

Translate Science into Solutions:
• Be the primary point of contact for inbound client inquiries via phone, email, and chat
• Ask thoughtful, probing questions understanding client needs and technical challenges
• Recommend appropriate analytical testing services based on scientific requirements
• Prepare pricing, generate quotes, and manage follow-up through completion
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly communication
• Partner with internal lab and operations teams to validate solutions and ensure accuracy
• Maintain ownership of client interactions from initial inquiry through project initiation
• Continuously build knowledge of analytical techniques, applications, and services

• Bachelor's degree (science-related preferred) or 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong writing and communication skills ability to clearly explain complex topics
• Ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and guide client decision-making

• Customer-focused mindset with a consultative, problem-solving approach
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) is a plus

• Experience in laboratory environments or technical services
