The Role

\n

Realzyme is seeking an early-career Technical Sales Support Specialist to join its Springboro team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a scientific background who enjoys working with people and wants to build a career in technical sales.

\n

\n

You will work alongside Realzyme's experienced sales team, supporting customers and distributors through technical training, field applications, troubleshooting, and product implementation.

\n

This is not a cold-calling sales position. Realzyme is looking for someone who can build customer confidence through technical knowledge, communication, and problem-solving.

\n

\n

What You'll Do

\n

• \n
• Support customers, distributors, agents, and the Realzyme sales team
• \n
• Travel to customer sites for product startups, troubleshooting, and technical support
• \n
• Train customers and distributors on Realzyme's enzyme technology
• \n
• Assist with biofilm detection, product validation, and field testing
• \n
• Present technical information in person and virtually
• \n
• Work with food safety, sanitation, production, and plant management teams
• \n
• Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and follow-up documentation
• \n
• Attend trade shows and industry events
• \n
• Develop toward an independent technical sales role
• \n

What We're Looking For

• Scientific or technical education/background
• \n
• Relevant fields may include microbiology, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, food science, environmental science, agriculture, or related disciplines
• \n
• Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply
• \n
• Associate degree candidates with relevant technical experience will also be considered
• \n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• \n
• Outgoing, confident, and comfortable working directly with customers
• \n
• Hands-on problem solver who enjoys learning
• \n
• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative company
• \n
• Ability to travel approximately 25–40%
• \n
• Flexibility for occasional evening, overnight, or weekend customer support
• \n

Previous sales experience is not required.

Compensation & Development

• $60,000–$70,000 base salary

Location

This position is based in Springboro, Ohio. Because of the hands-on training involved, candidates should live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
