Technical Service AdvisorCompany is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Product Support Team to provide technical product support for our contractors, manufacturers representatives, homeowners and other related customers.Responsibilities:Provide documentation and technical support for our products including: plumbing, electrical, gas, venting as well as technical troubleshootingParticipate and support the creation of all technical service procedures and bulletin documentationProvide parts identification for the Laars productsAttend field job sites for product support as requiredAttend job related courses to update product knowledge and skillsCommunicate field feedback to the sales, service and engineering groupsParticipate in Laars–sponsored educational training seminarsAct as a liaison between technical support and engineering as new troubleshooting requirements become necessary.Participate in new product development process by attending product and service review meetingsPerform other related duties as assignedEducation Requirement:High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in a Technical major, preferredExperience/Skills Requirements:3+ years' experience with HVAC systems, equipment, design, applications and serviceStrong customer service focusStrong oral and written communication skillsProficient knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural drawingsAbility to interpret engineering specifications and designProficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, CADKnowledge and Understanding of Boiler and Water Heater Sequencing, Building Management Systems and Building Automation Systems including BACNet, Lon Works, Modbus and their protocols
