Technical Services Manager – Brazing

Position Summary
Join a global leader in advanced heat treatment and surface technologies. As the Technical Services Manager – Brazing, you will serve as the senior technical expert, partnering with customers, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality, reliable processing solutions while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert in brazing, nitriding, and FNC processes
Support customers and sales with technical solutions, prototypes, and issue resolution
Drive compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements
Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
Develop and optimize process parameters and control plans
Support new business launches, including FAIRs and sample approvals
Train teams on heat treatment principles, SPC, and inspection methods
Develop procedures, specifications, and technical documentation
Champion safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement
Travel 15–20%
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or related engineering field
5+ years of experience in heat treatment or metals processing
Brazing and/or nitriding experience preferred
Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, IATF 16949, CQI-9, CQI-12
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Aerospace and Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
