Technical Services Representative

JOB SUMMARY

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000

The Technical Services Representative will perform and assist with aspects conducted by the Technical Services department to enable business operations to Electronic, Specialty and Industrial gas customers. Technical Services is a team of experts in the use and maintenance of multiple Matheson business systems, who support system users in the daily activities as well as facilitate system improvements that are driven by internal needs and specific customer requirements. The individual will be a part of a team that supports Operations, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Service, with close ties to the Information Technology Group. The essential abilities of the members of this team are problem solving, strong computer skills, teamwork, and communication. The individual must also be dedicated to understanding and achieving the Matheson safety and quality goals. The position reports to the Director of Technical Services.

Perform all duties following appropriate work instructions and procedures. Wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) for tasks requiring use of PPE. Bring safety issues to the attention of the Site Services Manager. Responsible for safely operating and maintaining equipment required for the customer to produce their products. Work is typically in a team environment.

Quality Function

Follow work instructions and established procedures. Bring ideas for improvement to the TGCM Site Services Manager for consideration. Work schedule will be performed by the terms of the contract with the customer. Complete all training that is required (based on scope of contract).

Productivity Function

Complete work as time permits. Capture all relevant information on completed work and send daily to TGCM Site Services Manager (and other recipients as required by the TGCM Site Services Manager).
