The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the inspection, evaluation, disassembly, and decontamination of technical equipment primarily used in but not limited to the semiconductor field. This person performs detailed cleaning of electronics and electro-mechanical equipment utilizing specialty chemicals and mechanical processes to remove unwanted contamination. The technician will have the ability to work closely with a multicultural team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all required documentation is thoroughly completed in a timely manner. This includes inspection and evaluation documentation, materials, recording defect reports, etc.
- Ensure work instructions and quality control measures are followed closely on every item
- Communicate effectively with management, logistics, and administrative teams, and office personnel
- Follow company policy and foster a positive work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills (a plus)
- Experience in semiconductor desired but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs on occasion
- Valid drivers license required
- Ability to arrive promptly for scheduled shifts
- Ability to travel on occasion (highly desirable)
- 10-40 hours plus overtime as needed
- Ability to wear specialized safety and protective gear
- Strong written and verbal skills
