XKnowledge Skills and Abilities • Proven knowledge of routing protocols OSPF EIGRP BGP MPLS. • Proven knowledge of overlay networking SD-WAN VXLAN VPN GRE. • Knowledge of firewall technologies intrusion detection prevention systems IDSIPS and network access control NAC. • Familiarity with wireless protocols e.g. 802.11 standards WLAN design and wireless security. • Proficiency in using tools like SNMP NetFlow Wireshark SolarWinds and other network performance monitoring solutions. • Experience with deploying and managing multiple virtual machines configuring virtual networks and storage and performing routine maintenance tasks. • Intermediate administration skills for Windows and Linux systems. • Understanding of storage technologies NAS SAN Fibre Channel. • Advanced skills in documentation and using VisioLucidChart. • Strong teamwork and organizational skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Collaboration across teams and embracing change to achieve positive outcomes. • Demonstrates rigor and discipline in documenting work ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networking. • Commitment to staying updated with industry trends technologies and certifications relevant to the role.
