Responsibilities
+ Support client programs by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing technical, operational, and programmatic information to develop clear, accurate documentation and deliverables.
+ Collaborate with technical SMEs, operations stakeholders, and solution architects to document system functionality, processes, and project outcomes in a way that supports client understanding and mission success.
+ Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable content for both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients, leadership, and end users.
+ Demonstrated capability to conceptualize graphics that capture and communicate complex technical solutions.
+ Develop and maintain high-quality program documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, process documentation, reports, and briefings.
+ Identify gaps, risks, or unclear elements in technical approaches or program execution and work with stakeholders to clarify and strengthen deliverables.
+ Support project teams by creating structured, compelling narratives that communicate program value, performance, and outcomes to the client.
+ Assist with development of presentations, briefings, dashboards, and other materials that support client engagement.
+ Maintain organized knowledge repositories, including program documentation, lessons learned, and reusable content to improve delivery efficiency and consistency.
+ Participate in internal and client-facing meetings to capture requirements, document decisions, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
+ Provide guidance on documentation quality, clarity, and consistency across project deliverables.
+ Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment, supporting evolving client needs and priorities.
+ Support capture and proposal efforts by gathering technical input, conducting SME interviews, and developing compliant, persuasive written responses.
+ Translate proposed technical solutions into clear narratives aligned with solicitation requirements.
+ Lead proposal sections, RFIs, white papers, and pre-solicitation artifacts.
+ Maintain and update reusable proposal content, including past performance, management approaches, and technical solution descriptions.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, information systems, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
+ 8+ years of experience supporting federal government programs or contracts.
+ 5+ years of experience in technical writing, program documentation, or proposal development.
+ Proposal writing experience for federal solicitations preferred.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
+ Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, client-ready documentation and deliverables.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with SMEs, project teams, and client stakeholders.
+ Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
+ Security documentation and ATO (Authority to Operate) writing experience
+ Experience supporting ATO artifacts (SSP, SAR, POA&M)
+ Knowledge of NIST RMF and federal security/compliance frameworks is nice to have.
+ Experience developing presentations, reports, SOPs, and other structured documentation
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
+ Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-tempo, deadline-driven environment
+ Positive, collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for both client and internal teams.
