Senior Technical Sourcer

Pay: $67.47/hour
Duration: 3 month contract initially
Location: Mountain View, CA
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite - Monday-Friday; 1st shift

Position Summary

The company is at the forefront of research and development in North America and is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to join a high-performing, world-class Talent Acquisition team. This position provides visibility across multiple business segments and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with the broader HR and engineering organizations.

The Senior Technical Sourcer will partner closely with engineering teams to build strong candidate pipelines across advanced technology disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (GenAI), Computer Vision (CV), Data Science, and Robotics.

This role will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and screening highly specialized technical talent while serving as a sourcing consultant to Recruiters and Hiring Managers throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop proactive, high-impact sourcing strategies utilizing multi-channel search techniques.
• Build and maintain strong networks of prospective candidates while developing a research-oriented understanding of the advanced technology talent market.
• Partner closely with Hiring Managers and recruiting teams to identify, source, and qualify target candidates.
• Develop a strong understanding of position requirements, technical skill sets, and broader business needs.
• Conduct advanced talent research across professional networks, research publications, conferences, and other technical communities.
• Promote the company's employer brand and utilize targeted outreach and advertising techniques to attract top technical talent.
• Craft compelling recruiting outreach and email campaigns designed to engage passive candidates.
• Track and measure sourcing conversion rates, including passive candidate engagement, applications, interviews, offers, and hires.
• Apply diversity-focused sourcing strategies to reach and engage diverse candidate populations.
• Maintain market and competitive intelligence regarding technical functions, talent pools, organizational structures, and business-unit alignment.
• Partner with Recruiters, Coordinators, and other Talent Acquisition team members to establish efficient and successful recruitment processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably within an advanced technology or R&D organization.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing highly specialized technical talent within areas such as:
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Generative AI (GenAI)
  • Machine Learning (ML)
  • Computer Vision (CV)
  • Robotics
  • Data Science
• Proven experience identifying candidates through professional and social networks, including LinkedIn, GitHub, and Slack.
• Advanced sourcing and research capabilities, including X-Ray search techniques across research publication sites, conference materials, professional communities, and other technical sources.
• Experience researching and sourcing candidates with strong research backgrounds, publications, conference participation, and advanced technical expertise.
• Expertise in crafting personalized recruiting emails and candidate outreach.
• Experience partnering with Hiring Managers to define and understand technical position requirements.
• Strong understanding of innovative and emerging technology talent markets.
• Ability to effectively communicate the company's story and opportunities in a way that aligns with candidates' motivations, career goals, and interests.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Self-motivated and capable of operating with limited supervision and sound discretion.
• Persistent, resourceful, and solutions-oriented when addressing difficult sourcing challenges.
• Strong work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate will be a senior technical sourcer with deep experience identifying hard-to-find engineering and research talent, particularly within AI/ML, GenAI, Computer Vision, Robotics, or related advanced technology fields. They should be comfortable going beyond traditional LinkedIn sourcing and conducting targeted research through GitHub, publications, conferences, research communities, and X-Ray searches to identify specialized passive talent.
