Technical Sourcing Recruiter 2 (NYC/Herdon)

Location: Seattle, WA; Herndon, VA; or New York, NY

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sourcing Recruiter to support hiring efforts for Software Development Engineer (SDE) and Security Engineer (SecEng) talent. Due to a significant increase in requisition volume and hiring demand, this role will focus on building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines. The position involves partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to attract top technical talent in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sourcing background and the ability to manage a high-volume requisition load.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop candidate pipelines for Software Development Engineer and Security Engineer positions.
• Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, networking, and other creative sourcing strategies.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, calibrate candidate profiles, and execute sourcing strategies.
• Conduct candidate outreach and engagement activities to build interest and move talent through the recruiting funnel.
• Screen and assess technical candidates against role requirements and organizational hiring standards.
• Manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
• Utilize sourcing metrics and pipeline data to evaluate effectiveness and improve candidate throughput.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sourcing and/or recruiting experience.
• Experience sourcing and recruiting technical talent, preferably Software Development Engineers and Security Engineers.
• Demonstrated success in candidate generation, passive talent sourcing, and candidate assessment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search methodology, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Ability to manage a high-volume requisition load and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting security-focused hiring, including for cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, threat detection, or incident response roles.
• Previous experience in a similar recruiting capacity is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical talent markets and competitive sourcing strategies.
• Proven ability to influence hiring managers and drive recruiting strategies.
