Technical Specialist/Scientist III

Assignment Length: Approximately 12-Months, possibly longer.

DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a Technical Specialist/Scientist III to provide technical analysis and support for onboarding and provisioning of employees across SPE, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Generation, and EHSQ functions. This role ensures compliance with security, governance, and access standards while supporting operational readiness on Day One for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical analysis to support onboarding and provisioning processes.
  • Review and validate job templates with Hiring Managers to ensure accurate provisioning requests.
  • Submit and manage access requests, coordinating with IT and cross-functional teams.
  • Support new and existing employees by identifying and resolving missing or incorrect system access or roles.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for provisioning requests to ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Maintain vital reports and records, run weekly reports to support leadership visibility, and assist provisioning teams with operational support.
  • Manage team mailbox, assign incoming requests, and ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or degrees preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in technical support, system provisioning, or related fields.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot provisioning and access issues.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively with employees, hiring managers, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Helix/Remedy, or other onboarding/provisioning tools.
