Title: Business Analyst – Customer Enrollment & Billing Operations
Location: Irwindale, CA-Hybrid (Wed & Thu)
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $48/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)
Duration: 15+ Months

Job Summary:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

• Perform eligibility checks for potential customers for Client's Flexible Pricing Rate Pilot.
• Manage customer enrollment and payment operations.
• Receive and validate enrollment forms from account managers.
• Submit eligible customers to third-party suppliers for enrollment.
• Confirm enrollment status to internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the pilot's automated enrollment and billing platform.
• Pull data from the platform and ensure data accuracy.
• Work with third-party platform providers to report bugs/errors, implement enhancements, and maintain the system.
• Oversee manual enrollment processes for Automation Service Providers.
• Maintain detailed enrollment metrics, including number of customers, MW enrolled, and benefiters vs. non-benefiters.
• Track billing status and manage manual customer payments.
• Facilitate payments to contractors and other third parties.
• Monitor and compensate third parties for their performance in recruiting customers.
• Prepare and maintain reporting related to customer enrollment, billing, and payments.

Required Skills/Attributes

• Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Access, or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to understand and conduct payment processing and reconciliation.
• Ability to follow and improve business processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information on forms.
• Experience with manual data entry.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume tasks during ramp-up periods.
• Four or more years of experience in business analysis.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline

Desired Skills/Attributes

• Experience with customer programs and billing in a utility or similarly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with SAP billing and/or payment systems.
• Experience with advanced analytical tools such as SAS, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience working with budgets.
• Experience creating and using pivot tables, charts, and graphs.
• Ability to work with large datasets, including data for several hundred thousand accounts.
• Proficiency in identifying trends in complex data and developing data-driven solutions.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
