Description
Open Nationwide:
We are seekings looking for Superintendents that know how to and love to build! Schedule, coordinate and supervise Mechanical craft employee activities. May involve supervising one or more trade groups, including electricians, plumbers, sheet metal workers, and similar within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate electrical craft employees and subcontractors.
Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and daily construction activities.
Coordinate work with other trades, engineering, quality, purchasing, and project management teams.
Monitor project schedules and ensure work progresses according to plan.
Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Review drawings and specifications to ensure quality installation.
Assist in resolving field conflicts and construction issues.
Monitor productivity, labor hours, and project progress.
Mentor field personnel and provide leadership to project teams.
Maintain communication with project stakeholders throughout construction.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
Strong Mechanical background in Data Centers experience is preferred.
Titles by discipline may include, Technical Superintendent, Mechanical Superintendent, or Electrical Superintendent.
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and demonstrated ability to control and supervise large groups.
Prior experience with Commercial or Industrial project scopes of at least $50M value.
A valid drivers license in the US required; and willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%.
