Job Description:

Technical Support Engineer (L3)

Location: Charlotte, NC / Jacksonville FL/ Kennesaw GA (Onsite)

Duration: 9 months

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Engineer to provide advanced support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues within our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of systems that support core organizational functions. The position involves working on a Regulatory Messaging project and requires an expert in diagnosing and resolving escalated technical problems to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve escalated technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize systems, networks, and applications according to industry best practices.
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring incidents and develop solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, assisting with technical development and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure upgrades and new deployments.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and technical standards for internal use.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and security threats relevant to the organization.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role is necessary.

Technical Skills: Candidates must have hands-on experience with Python and .NET Core development, including troubleshooting and maintaining applications. An advanced understanding of operating systems, networking, and security protocols is also required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, MCSE, CompTIA Security+) are desirable.
