Insight Global is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a top energy technology client. This candidate will serve as the highest level of technical escalation support for advanced home energy products, including EV charging, energy storage, residential energy systems, solar or home energy integrations, connectivity, mobile app behavior, and integrated system performance. They will also be responsible for turning technical learnings into scalable resources by creating training content, how-to documentation, troubleshooting guides, technical bulletins, service guidance, and support playbooks that help the broader organization troubleshoot faster and prevent repeat escalations. This role is hybrid in Warren, MI and will require occasional travel up to 10%.

• 4+ years of experience in technical troubleshooting, systems engineering, product support, field service engineering, electrical systems, energy systems, EV charging, or a related technical environment
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, residential energy systems, EV charging infrastructure, energy storage, or distributed energy resource
• Experience supporting residential energy products, energy storage systems, EV charging equipment, solar or home energy integrations, or IoT-connected products
• Willingness to travel approximately 5-10% based on business need
