Technical Support Specialist
Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Prequel Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a stable Pittsburgh-based organization. This role is ideal for an IT professional with 2-3 years of experience who is looking to expand beyond traditional Help Desk responsibilities and gain exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies, device management, and IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users
- Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows environments
- Assist with user onboarding, device deployment, and account administration
- Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment records
- Manage and resolve support tickets through the service desk platform
- Assist with endpoint management, software deployments, and patching activities
- Perform initial review of reported phishing emails and security concerns
- Support a cloud-based phone system through basic troubleshooting and escalation
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and user account administration
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Experience with ticketing systems
