Technical Trainer Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves. Responsibilities: Plan, document, and lead new employee training to include station by station assembly training, safety, and classroom training on proper use of equipment. Create and maintain a detailed schedule for employee training with the expectation that each employee is trained on a new station once per month. Create and update detailed training matrix for new and current employees to identify training gaps in different processes. Conduct classroom training in conjunction with EHS, HR, and manufacturing to understand policies regarding safety, compliance, proper etiquette, etc. Collaborate with plant floor leaders to identify shopfloor training needs. Ensure any new and old production line processes are communicated and trained to all necessary employees. * Audit assembly lines and implement process improvements to ensure employees are trained on the processes they are performing. Qualifications Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or another related field required. Years of Experience: PII: 3 or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting required. PIII: 6 or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting required; experience conducting training programs preferred. Software Knowledge: MS Office, Six Sigma required.
