We are looking for a talented Technical Trainer Instructor - Senior to join our team specializing in Service for Cummins, Inc. in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Forecast training demand and create plans that align with business and service needs.

  • Deliver technical training and hands-on support to technicians and service personnel.

  • Build subject matter expertise through train-the-trainer sessions and ongoing learning.

  • Maintain, update, and improve training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Assess training effectiveness using participant feedback and field performance data.

  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

  • Track and maintain training records, reporting on service capability and readiness.

  • Customize and adapt training programs, content, and presentations based on audience needs.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Situational adaptability - Read the room and adjust pacing, tone, and approach based on learner engagement and comprehension. Modify content or delivery in real time to meet changing learner or business needs.

  • Training Delivery - Create an engaging, inclusive environment that encourages participation and questions. Focus on real-world application so learners can immediately use skills on the job. Continuously improve sessions using feedback and performance outcomes.

  • Organizational savvy - Understand policies, stakeholders, and business priorities to align training with organizational goals. Build strong cross-functional relationships to anticipate training needs and gain buy-in.

  • Communicates effectively - Tailor your communication style to your audience (clear for new learners, deeper context for experienced). Use multiple delivery methods (visuals, discussion, hands-on) to reinforce understanding.

Education/Experience:

  • College, university or equivalent technical experience required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required, including experience in service.

This position will require a strong technical background in Engine and Electronic repair.
