Pay Range: $38-48 an hour 

Job Description:
Seeking a Technical Training Developer to create engaging, technically accurate training content for automotive products and technologies. This role partners closely with engineers and subject matter experts to develop instructor-led and eLearning materials, translating complex technical concepts into effective learning experiences for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate brings expertise in instructional design, technical writing, eLearning development tools, and hands-on automotive or dealership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and feedback to identify training requirements and learning gaps.
• Design course roadmaps, curricula, and learning activities aligned with business objectives.
• Develop training materials including course modules, workbooks, guides, and assessments.
• Create engaging learning content using multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and simulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and product alignment.
• Conduct independent research on emerging technologies, vehicle systems, and lab environments.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and learner-friendly content.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to maximize knowledge retention.
• Customize training content for varying skill levels and learning styles.
• Measure learner progress and course effectiveness through assessments and evaluations.
• Partner with instructional designers, graphic designers, and stakeholders throughout development projects.
• Maintain project documentation, provide progress updates, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Stay current on industry trends, training methodologies, and technical advancements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other eLearning tools.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Automotive or dealership experience with hands-on product knowledge.
• Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
