Are you passionate about technology teaching and helping others master highly specialized equipment? REI is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to join our world-class team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys developing training materials, leading instruction, and supporting technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) education around the globe.

What Youll Do As a Technical Training Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and maintain course materials for REI equipment and TSCM-related topics.
  • Assist lead instructors during training at REIs facility and off-site worldwide.
  • Create new curriculum for future TSCM courses.
  • Maintain training equipment, materials, and project rooms.
  • Support Sales & Marketing at trade shows and technical events.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to test and evaluate REI products.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Required:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Electronics technical schooling or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching or training in a technical environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in classroom/office settings.

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Technical background in TSCM operations.
  • Law enforcement or intelligence experience.

Work Environment & Travel This role is based in a general office environment at our Cookeville TN headquarters. Youll also have opportunities for worldwide travel (10-25%) to lead or support training events.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • No security clearance required.
