  • Translate engineering specifications and test results into clear, concise, and structured content for technicians, engineers, and auditors.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and product teams to capture accurate technical content and implement revisions.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and write technical summaries and corrective action reports.
  • Maintain test equipment calibration records, inventory of spares, and lab safety compliance.
  • Support certification documentation and audits by preparing and organizing evidence, test artifacts, and controlled documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or equivalent technical certification in Aerospace Engineering Technology, Avionics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field or related experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years experience as an engineering technician in aerospace, aviation, or avionics environment.
  • Demonstrated technical writing experience producing procedures, test reports, and maintenance documentation in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, AS9100, DO-178/DO-254, ATA iSpec 2200 or equivalent).
  • Hands-on skills with mechanical assembly, wiring/harnesses, soldering, bench testing, and use of common test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, torque tools, calipers).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document control tools (e.g., SharePoint, Windchill, Teamcenter, PDM/PLM). Experience with authoring tools (MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, or similar) a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under schedule and regulatory constraints.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

Nice to Haves
