This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.

Job Description

Our cyber professionals are on the cutting edge of cyberspace operations, delivering options and effects for our nation in an ever-changing threat environment. Our team provides a full range of expertise and capabilities across the spectrum of cyberspace operations. We are an integral part of an important mission -- we go to work every day with the knowledge and pride that our accomplishments make a difference.

The Warfare Systems team is currently seeking a Technical Writer/Editor in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoDs cyber expertise.

This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage. Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field

Flexibility to adust shifts as needed to cover 24x7 operations

Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

Experience to include but not limited to:

• Reviewing and developing executive level communications.

• Reviewing and developing executive level communications.

• Editing and developing briefing slides and materials.
