In this role, you will develop comprehensive documentation for industrial control products, including user manuals, help systems, product information bulletins, and update documents. Your primary focus will be on creating user documentation for hardware, firmware, and software products within the Research & Development organization. We are looking for a Technical Writer. This position will be based in Johnson City, TN but has remote capability. You'll make an impact by: Communicate complex product features clearly and effectively from a user's perspective, using both written and graphical formats. Research technical and engineering information such as drawings, design and test specifications, product prototypes, and other materials to thoroughly understand the products. Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather detailed information about product functionality. Operate within established R&D product development processes and contribute suggestions for process improvements. Quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools and technologies. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
