Resource Innovations is seeking a Technical Writer & Editor to join our Stakeholder Engagement and Communications team. This position will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team implementing the engagement and communication strategy across channels and platforms for Californias market transformation program. CalMTA is focused on developing initiatives that accelerate adoption of emerging and underutilized energy efficiency technologies, services, and practices resulting in significant environmental and social benefits. There is a strong preference for California residents, but remote candidates will be considered.
As a Technical Writer & Editor, you will perform a range of tasks supporting report and publication releases and other communications and outreach activities for CalMTA. This includes writing and reviewing reports and other material explaining CalMTAs work and outcomes. This position works collaboratively with internal teams as well as external parties to finalize market characterization and other studies, synthesize technical information into concise and informative narratives that help tell the story of how market transformation is progressing in California.
Candidates must have strong communication and time management skills with experience coordinating multiple high-quality deliverables on tight deadlines. Successful candidates will be proactive in developing new solutions and processes, adaptable to change and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
