Position Title: Technical Writer
Location: Frankfort, KY, 40601
Duration: 10 months
Work Schedule: 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, no overtime eligibility
Work Location: Hybrid; primarily remote with periodic on-site meetings as required.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Technical Documentation:- Develop clear, concise, and professionally formatted technical documentation.
- Create, edit, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Produce implementation guides and operational manuals.
- Develop user reference guides and quick-reference documentation.
- Ensure documentation follows established formatting, branding, and version control standards.
- Maintain revisions and document change logs.
Business Process Documentation:- Career coaching operations
- School engagement processes
- Employer engagement
- Data collection and reporting
- Microsoft 365 workflows
- Standardize terminology across organizational documentation.
Knowledge Management:- Organize documentation within Microsoft SharePoint
- Maintain document taxonomy and metadata standards
- Create document governance procedures
- Improve searchability and accessibility of organizational knowledge
- Support long-term document maintenance practices
Project Support:- Participate in project planning meetings.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Track document development progress.
- Coordinate document review cycles.
- Facilitate stakeholder feedback.
- Prepare executive summaries and project status updates.
Quality Assurance:- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure consistency across all organizational documentation.
- Edit and proofread materials.
- Verify adherence to established documentation standards.
- Maintain document version control throughout the project.
