Position Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Writer to develop comprehensive user manuals and technical documentation for Modine data center products. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, product development, and service teams to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation for operators, technicians, and facility managers.
Key Responsibilities
Required Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in HVAC, mechanical systems, or data center infrastructure. Proficiency in authoring tools such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft office or other technical writing/manual software. Experience with interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, UL/ETL compliance, and data center operational protocols. Previous experience with HVAC equipment preferred Knowledge of accessibility standards and multilingual documentation practices.
