Technical Writer, Contractor - $40hr. + DOE
SummaryTakes directions from the engineering group to edit existing documents and create new documents. Extensive work with Microsoft Word; outlines, tables, images, text, and change tracking. Creates redlines with Microsoft change tracking of existing documents. Takes pictures and receives images from the engineering group. Crops and rotates the images for the documents. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and numeric format are a must. Engineers review and provide feedback on the documents.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Experience Level with Business Tools- Very familiar with Microsoft Word, change tracking, outlines, tables, images placement.
- Photography, picture and image cropping and rotation.
- Cell phone camera pictures may be sufficient
- Professional photography and editing are a plus.
Typical Education and Experience- Associate's degree, or equivalent, or greater, preferred
