Job Title: Technical Writer

Compensation: $25/hour
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday through Friday (9AM to 5PM)

Summary:

We are seeking an entry-level Technical Writer to support the development and maintenance of technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a manufacturing and cleanroom environment. This position will work closely with engineers and other technical personnel to organize, update, and prepare process documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Create, update, format, and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and other technical documents.
• Work closely with engineers and technical staff to gather information and accurately document processes and procedures.
• Review and work with technical documentation written in both English and Mandarin.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical documentation to ensure information is accurate and easily accessible.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare, revise, track, and maintain documents and related information.
• Provide general documentation and administrative support to engineering and manufacturing teams as needed.
• Work within cleanroom and manufacturing areas as necessary to observe processes and understand documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Engineering, or another related science or technical discipline required.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. (moving heavy documentation)
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to understand technical information and translate it into clear, organized documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents and priorities.
• Previous technical writing, SOP, manufacturing, or semiconductor experience is a plus but not required
