Position SummaryAs a Technical Writer, you will create and maintain user documentation, including on-line help, user guides, tutorials, release notes, and in-person training materials. You will work closely with Project Managers, Programmer Analysts, and Quality Assurance to ensure that the documentation is accurate.What is great about working for Foundation? Plenty! Prepare /maintain software documentation for users for all formats, including on-line help. Prepare /maintain support documentation and training materials. Create and send email communications to clients, announcing software updates, maintenance windows, and required actions. Report quality issues discovered during creation of documentation to Quality Assurance Analysts. Perform all duties in a professional, responsive, and collaborative manner with coworkers and supervisors. Maintain literacy and up-to-date research on all programs and modifications. Project a positive, cooperative image as a representative of the company aiding associates, clients and other third parties whenever possible. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor of Arts/Science in Technical Communication, English, or similar degree Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and creative with strong attention to detail Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Thrive on the responsibility of managing writing projects from start to finish.
