Snohomish County is hiring a Technical Systems Specialist, specifically dedicated to the payroll team. This position is a project position to backfill and support our existing staff during a finance software system replacement project. The County has purchased Oracle, and implementation begins in the summer of 2026. Project positions are budgeted to 12/31/2026 but anticipated to continue through the next biennial budget end date of 12/31/2028.
BASIC FUNCTION
Provides payroll and/or financial systems support through design, development and maintenance of new and existing computer applications. Coordinates and provides technical guidance to the accounting technical, accounting specialist and project specialist staff in providing financial, payroll, accounting and/or other fiscal services to the County and junior taxing districts.
