Position Summary
The purpose of this Technician B position is to assist our researchers in different aspects of clinical research studies. The position has both clinical and administrative components. Clinical research tasks include: following approved IRB protocol for participant screening, recruitment and monitoring; blood drawing and aliquoting; ensure lab space is set up for participant evaluations; reporting regularly on study recruitment and milestone goals, and guiding participants through protocol procedures with the supervision of senior staff. Administrative tasks include: organizing participant' records, tracking data return, collecting documents from doctors, tracking and scheduling participants, data entry, answering telephone and email queries, shipping blood samples and documents, copying and filing, keeping meeting minutes.
