Job Description:

\n

\n

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Technician to join a highly talented development team in building modern cloud communication platforms for the Defense industry. You will be an integral team member working directly on-site with end users and other software engineering professionals. Please note that this posting is intended to identify qualified individuals for an upcoming contract opportunity. Employment is contingent upon contract award.

\n

In this position you will:

\n

·      Install, maintain, repair, and test computer hardware

\n

·      Provide technical support to end users

\n

·      Diagnose hardware integration issues and recommend solutions to project leadership

\n

·      Generate hardware documentation and user guides

\n

·      Handle the shipping and receiving of hardware

\n

·      Log inbound shipments into ERP/MRP or inventory control systems

\n

\n

Minimum qualifications:

\n

·      Associate's degree or certification in a relevant technical field

\n

·      2+ years of experience in the manufacturing or IT industry

\n

·      Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software

\n

·      Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

\n

·      Task management skills

\n

·      Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics

\n

·      Technical writing and communication skills

\n

·      Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices

\n

·      Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements

\n

·      US Citizenship

\n

Preferred qualifications:

\n

·      4+ years of experience in the manufacturing or IT industry

\n

·      Experience using JavaScript, Python, C++, or other general purpose programming languages

\n

·      Knowledge of U.S. government inventory tracking and management best practices

\n

·      Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches

\n
