Role Description This full-time, on-site Technician role is based at Calspan’s main automotive testing campus in Buffalo, NY. The Technician supports test operations by setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment and instruments used in automotive and related testing activities. Daily tasks may include preparing test vehicles or components, performing mechanical and electrical checks, collecting and recording test data, and assisting engineers in executing test plans. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance, and ensuring work areas and tools are organized and compliant with safety standards. Technicians collaborate closely with engineering staff, follow detailed procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and workflows.\n
