Overview

Facilitates case preparation. Stocks OR supplies, instruments and equipment. Checks and delivers case carts to assure proper supplies are available. Cleans ORs between cases. Transports patient to and from surgery. Lifts and positions patients. Performs second surgical scrub duties. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Transports patients.
• Participates in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Minimum Requirements

BLS certification within 14 days of hire date

Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
