    Description

    Overview:

    Strong communication skills, attention to detail, technical ability and calm, professional manner are essential in this role.

    Responsibilities:

    EKG technician is responsible to prepare and perform cardiac dignostic testing on patients, operate EKG equipment and ensure accurate readings for physician review.EKG technicians may also monitor cardiac rhythms, maintain equipment, document test results and follow infection control and patient safty protocols. I addition, EKG technician will perform filing, reporting, trnsporting small oxygen cylinders and other duties as needed.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma

    EKG/Rhythm certificate

    Greater El Monte Community Hospital is a 110-bed acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of services, including ICU, MST, ER, OR, and Sub-Acute units. To better meet the growing needs of our community, we are currently building a new psychiatric unit, which is expected to be operational in 2026. Our primary focus remains providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care to all those we serve.
