Production Packaging Technician
$20 per hour
*Retention bonus - $250 at 30 days, $250 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days. Up to $1000 after 6 months! 
Rotating M-F 5a-5:30p (see below)

Work Schedule

• 12-hour rotating schedule, working either Monday–Wednesday or Monday–Thursday.

• Day shift, Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend work.

• Shift hours: 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. CST.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Production Packaging Technician works in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. This position focuses primarily on packaging and performing production tasks in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, including startup, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring.

• Complete production documentation accurately and thoroughly.

• Clean and sanitize work areas according to established procedures.

• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and applicable safety and quality requirements.

• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily production goals.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

• Strong analytical, scientific, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail and safety.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds intermittently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related scientific field strongly preferred.

• Understanding of aseptic processes and their application in daily operations.

• Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Basic knowledge of quality improvement tools and MPS processes.

• Awareness of USDA regulations.
