Technician - HVAC - Level III

Description

Position Summary

This position provides the service of installing and performing all maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs all first time (start-up) installations for HVAC systems while ensuring compatibility with all other equipment to be installed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to assure the entire HVAC system runs safely and efficiently.
• Ensures accuracy and completion of all documentation including service reports and timekeeping.
• Monitor and comply with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to staff and customers within the location.
• Ensures all facilities and equipment are in excellent, and safe operating condition.
• Maintain daily correspondence with staff from all departments within the company, customers, suppliers, and Caterpillar.

Occasional/Other Responsibilities:

• Assist with performing service on other industry related systems such as generators, distribution, and switchgear. (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, and other)

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC field.
• Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License.

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related technical field.
• 3 years or more of experience in HVAC field.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• CDL or Chauffer’s License.
