Job Description
We are seeking a US-Technician II, Tier 2 to join our team at an HPE site office. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and test procedure development and a proven ability to execute and improve test programs to ensure product functionality and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics, printouts, and specifications to conduct functional tests.
- Calibrate and verify testing instruments on a regular schedule.
- Participate in debugging and troubleshooting procedures, equipment, and products.
- Create and update test programs and procedures for new technology.
- Organize daily tasks and complete routine to moderately complex assignments with independent judgment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Computer literacy and ability to use test software and documentation tools.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with electronic or electromechanical systems.
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience: Associate degree or equivalent experience and/or 1-2 years related experience. Candidates with unrelated degrees or no degree but relevant experience may be considered.
- English language proficiency.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating automated test programs or scripts.
- Background in manufacturing test, quality, or reliability.
Work Conditions & Details:
- Work on site required at HPE Site - Office.
- Shift: 1st shift. Overtime may be required.
- Hours per day: 8. Labor type: Technical.
