Job Description
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field
2 or more years of hands-on electrical technician experience in machine building, automation, or capital equipment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings
Experience with electrical panel wiring, machine wiring, and component installation
Familiarity with industrial electrical systems, AC/DC power, motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits
Experience with prototyping and electromechanical assembly within a production work environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for control-related systems
Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional project teams alongside engineering and manufacturing personnel
Responsibilities
Build, wire, assemble, and test electrical systems for custom automation equipment and industrial machinery
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and technical drawings to guide assembly
Install and terminate electrical components including circuit breakers, relays, contactors, power supplies, sensors, motors, and control devices
Troubleshoot electrical and control-related issues during equipment assembly, testing, and system commissioning
Support machine startup and functional testing while maintaining accurate operational documentation and test records
