Job Description
We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Morrisville, NC 27560. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
- Pay: $21.50/hr to Start!!
- 9-month contract, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 11pm (100% on site)
- Position will be mainly responsible for synthesizing, modifying, purifying, and quantifying oligonucleotides using specialized laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Position will also be performing quality control testing, analyzing QC data, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Position will also be responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and sterilizing laboratory equipment while following SOPs, safety regulations, and contamination control procedures.
- Position will also maintain accurate production records, handle high value reagents, and follow detail work instructions throughout the manufacturing process.
- Position will also prepare products for shipment or further processing while collaborating with cross functional teams to support production goals.
Qualifications:
- HSD/ GED is Required but AA is Preferred!
- Manufacturing, Production, Tech, or Life Science background (material handler, chemical, pharmaceutical compounder, operator) is Preferred!
- Biowork Certification is Preferred!
