The Technician is responsible for performing technical tasks related to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment under supervision.

  • Assist higher-level technicians in troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks.

  • Follow established procedures and safety protocols.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.

  • Report issues and escalate as necessary.

  • Correctly complete day by hour boards.

  • Be able to correctly identify both good and bad parts.

  • Be able to complete and understand Team Improvement boards (if applicable).

  • Develop process improvements in order to limit/eliminate required rework.

  • Actively participate in High Performance Teams (HPTs)

  • Independently perform complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.

  • Train and mentor Technician I staff.

  • Assist in process improvements and documentation updates.

  • Collaborate with engineering and other departments to resolve technical issues.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Safely and correctly set up production processes in assigned area(s).

  • Assist in creating and maintaining process sheets.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent.

  • 2-5 years experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Can read, write, and speak English well enough to perform job responsibilities.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Able to learn and use labor scanning software.

  • Understand routers, ISO procedures, work instructions, and standard work written in English.

  • Use required measurement devices such as calipers, VMM, or micrometer.

  • Able to count and record good pieces and scrap on work orders.

  • General responsibilities for assigned area(s)

  • Understand Team Improvement Board.

  • Setup machines based on established process sheets.

  • Meet quality standards.

  • Ability to perform rework with assistance or direction.

  • Assist with implementation of process improvements.

  • Use required measurement devices such as calipers, VMM, or micrometer.

  • Able to count and record good pieces and scrap on work orders.

Typical Mental and Physical Demands:

  • Spend most of the day walking or standing.

  • Both near and far vision to evaluate parts and processes

  • Work with other team members, maintenance, leadership, manufacturing engineering to support the process.

  • Work with or on equipment in the area using any appropriate tools.

  • Required to independently lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $23.75/hr to $35.5/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
