The Maintenance Department facilitates uninterrupted production at Rate of high-quality bags through timely preventive and reactive plant-wide maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
Education and Experience
- GED or HS Diploma
- 3 or more years experience
- Maintain industrial equipment and infrastructure.
- Journeymen license
- Welding Certifications
- Fully aware of machinery hazards
- Passes A/M reading & math testing.
- Expresses ideas freely and speaks clearly.
- Sheet Metal experience preferred.

Reports to
Maintenance Manager
Duties
- Lubricates and oils machines
- Inspects machines for proper lubrication – ensures all grease fittings are in-place and oilers are functioning
- Works with other Maintenance personnel to perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance tasks
- Maintains specified Shop equipment
- Maintains work area
- Participates in Continuous Improvement team efforts
- Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Abilities
- Must have Welding/Fabrication Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Reads, understands and follows all rules, regulations and work instructions
- Arrives at the workplace before the shift begins, day in and day out
- Works on a rotating shift schedule (morning / evening / night)
- Works scheduled overtime (weekdays and/or weekends)
- Lifts up to 60 lbs. repeatedly
- Communicates and cooperates with others as a team member
- Sheet Metal experience preferred
