The shift for this role is Sunday - Wednesday, 7:30am - 6:00pm ET
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Bitcoin Mining Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and optimization of ASIC miners across a high‑density, fast‑paced Bitcoin mining environment. If you’re hands-on, detail‑oriented, and excited about blockchain infrastructure, this is the place to grow.
Job Duties
Daily Operations
- Deploy, install, and rack ASIC miners (S19, S21, Whatsminer, etc.)
- Monitor miner health, uptime, and hashrate performance
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to power, networking, and hashboard performance
- Perform firmware updates, BIOS resets, and diagnostic procedures
Maintenance & Repair
- Conduct replacement of hashboards, fans, PSUs, control boards
- Troubleshoot units impacted by PDUs, network instability, or thermal throttling
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and RMAs
Site Support
- Document POD/EOD updates, KPIs, and maintenance logs
- Ensure site cleanliness, safety compliance, and equipment staging
- Support curtailment events and power optimization procedures
- Rack and install incoming equipment in a timely manner
- Performs maintenance activities related to cleaning (e.g., maintaining clean machinery, and a clean site appearance)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
Must-Have
- Hands-on hardware experience (PC repair, electronics, cabling, etc.)
- Ability to lift 30-50+ lbs and work in hot/noisy industrial conditions
- Ability to work one shift per day (rotating, nights, or weekends if needed)
- All appropriate licenses or permits to drive in your local area
- Requires being on your feet most of the day, with frequent movement throughout the facility
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Bitcoin mining hardware (Bitmain, MicroBT, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking (basic IP config, switch diagnostics)
- Familiarity with monitoring dashboards, telemetry, and miner management tools
