Technician, OMNIMAX® Theater Cincinnati Museum Center Reports to: Senior Director, OMNIMAX® Theater Department: OMNIMAX® FLSA Status: PT/Non-exempt, Hourly Rate, $19.00 Date: 8/21/2026 Position Overview: The Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX ® Theater is a giant screen dome theater located at Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) which shows documentary films designed for giant screen and dome theaters. The Technician, OMNIMAX® Theater, assists with the operation of the Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX ® Theater through technical theater operations and guest engagement, as well as contributing to the Cincinnati Museum Center Audio-Visual support team, which provides AV support to museum programs and special events at Cincinnati Museum Center, the Vontz Family Education, Research and Collections Center, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
· A strong technical background with knowledge of operating soundboards, video projectors, laptop computers, audio mixers, and PowerPoint presentations. · Experience in public speaking with demonstrated presentation skills. · Customer services experience a plus. Two years of experience preferred.
