Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with preference for experience in the medical field
- High attention to detail
- Strong aptitude in operating medical instruments
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members (local and offshore)
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly motivated individual that is a self-starter to join our team as a scanning operator technician.
- The Operator/Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation for digitization of pathology slides at customer sites where Evident MIS (Pramana) is performing scanning as a service.
- The scanning operator technician will be responsible for performing scanning and quality assurance for all slides that are scanned during the individuals’ shift.
Responsibilities:
- Loading pathology slides from the customers storages into Pramana baskets in preparation for digitization.
- Unloading slides after digitization back into the customer storage
- Reviews slide images that are flagged for manual quality review and determine if they need to be rescanned or can be delivered to the customer.
- Cleans and maintains the instruments per the weekly maintenance schedule
- Performs troubleshooting if errors or issues arise
- Performs general calibrations as required
- Maintains documents of what issue or work has been completed on the instrumentation.
