Technician Plumbing Service (2025-1167)

 

Role Overview

 

• We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering quality work, communicates clearly with customers, and ensures safe and efficient plumbing operations on every job.

 

 

 

What You Bring

 

• 3+ years of plumbing service experience (residential or light commercial). - In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques. - Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer service and communication abilities. - Plumbing apprentice or journeyman license (as required by local jurisdiction). - Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Experience with tankless water heaters, drain cleaning, or water filtration systems a plus.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and fixture malfunctions. - Install and replace faucets, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures. - Perform preventive maintenance on water, sewer, and drain systems. - Troubleshoot system failures and recommend repair or replacement options. - Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours. - Provide professional communication and clear explanations to customers about repair findings and solutions. - Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations. - Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site. - Collaborate with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure timely service delivery. - Participate in on-call rotation for emergency plumbing service.
