This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading client, Dell, and involves travel across Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Lawton, and Tulsa.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards on laptops and desktops.
- Conduct whole unit swaps and repair or replace PC peripherals.
- Provide comprehensive Field Engineering support for a diverse client base.
- Take ownership of onsite service activities, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Use advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installations.
- Collaborate with technical colleagues to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Engage in broad server and data center operations, including physical work on servers.
Key Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of deskside support experience with a strong emphasis on server experience.
- Hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix and a computer-building background.
- General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including Microsoft applications.
- Must possess a reliable car and valid car insurance.
- Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
- Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
- Ability to complete required product training and pass drug and background screenings.
Additional Requirements
- Reliable transportation for extensive travel across Oklahoma with mileage reimbursement for work-related travel.
- Willingness to work beyond planned shifts when necessary, with overtime compensation provided.
- Compliance with a business casual dress code.
- Completion of Dell computer certifications prior to employment.
